Hello! My name is Grace Allred, a graduate of BYU-Idaho with a Bachelor's degree in Apparel Design. While attending school I also minored in 2D Art and received a certificate in Small Business Management. During my last two years at BYU-Idaho I worked at the Theatre Costume Shop. I was able to work on multiple shows and even assist the head costume designer. This summer I will have the opportunity to work as a stitcher at Utah Shakespeare Festival to further grow my skills.

 

My long term goals include a desire to study a masters program, and work in film and theatre. I find great joy in designing beautiful looks for individual characters and people. Even in my daily life I love seeing what those around me wear, because it tells you so much about who they are.  I also love fashion design, making clothing in my own style brings me much satisfaction. In the future I hope to be able to foster all these talents to bring more beauty to the world.
